As much as we adored meeting up after work in the Wal-Mart portrait studio last year for a festive team photo (see below) – this year we decided on something a little different for our agency Christmas initiative.
The idea: A Bake-off! We figured everyone loves to bake, or at least attempt to bake for that matter. We aimed to try our hand at Gingerbread interpretations of ourselves.
The Location: Cook Culture generously lent us their beautiful kitchen at their new location in the Atrium building after hours. We highly recommend checking out their new retail shop if you haven’t done so already. Thanks again Cook Culture!
The Resources: Each Eclipser was assigned another team member to create in Gingerbread form (and with this – retrieval of props and suitable decorations). A large supply of Gingerbread, icing, deli sandwiches and wine was supplied by the lovely Kate Phoenix (owner of Sam’s Deli, The Soda Shoppe and McMorran’s Beach House soon-to-be reopened under new management).
The Result: From a far, you may mistake these creations with the doodles of a toddler, but don’t be fooled! We’re very proud of our Gingerbread selves and the evening turned out to be a wonderful company bonding activity and an all around great time. For an entire album of the night’s events, click here.
