Thanks for sharing on the blog! Great call on Kevin with PS3. Although I’ve also seen some “Marcus” ads with that little outrageous boy as the spokesperson for PSP. Glad to see you share our thoughts on Telus’ attempt to own a humourous character.

Character-driven commercials definitely seems to be a new trend in advertising. Sony, Old Spice, and Dos Equis have all had successful campaigns centered around a charismatic/funny character. This new Telus campaign just comes off as a lazy imitation, though.

How come the winners haven’t been announced yet?!
I’m fairly certain that no one has been contacted, even though the website said that they’d contact people by July 4th. Any help on this?
